The first Oktoberfest occurred on October 12th, 1810 to celebrate the marriage of Bavaria’s Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese Charlotte Luise. In the modern era, the Oktoberfest celebration is in Munich, Germany occurs in September. The 16 day festival will draw upwards of 6 million fest goers.

Our head brewer designed this Marzen (or Oktoberfest if you’re into adding syllables to words) for his wedding a couple of years ago. Biscuity German malts and mild dose of spicy hops rounds out this classic style.
