TASTING NOTES

An easy drinkin' malt liquor with a sneaky 6.8% alcohol by volume. Mild fruit cocktail and notes of polenta differentiate our quaffable elixir from those cheap ones you have to duct tape to your hands to get down. 

STYLE notes

Malt liquor is a loosely defined beer style with the following features:

• ABV above 5.5%,

• usually contains adjuncts such as corn, rice, or sugar to lighten body and lower production costs,

• usually has little to no hop character or bitterness,

• usually is cheaper than standard beer

Beer for Bags doesn’t mess with this formula too much with the exceptions of the flaked corn, which add more flavor than corn processed through a cereal cooker, and fermentation with a kolsch yeast which increases the fruit cocktail ester profile.
