Tasting Notes

Raspberry Beer for Golf is the sequel Caddyshack deserved. Pouring deep scarlet in color with the aroma of ripe raspberry is proof that no raspberries were spared from this brew. Lemon and Yunnan black tea caddies the round providing brightness, subtle raisin notes, and a mild tannic finish. 

Secret Technique

Using loose leaf Yunnan black tea, we make cold brewed black tea concentrate in our brew kettle then add hot steeped tea to extract a limited amount of tannins. This tea is blend into the beer post fermentation to maintain the finer aromatics of the tea. The final beer blend contains an equivalent of 35% full strength iced tea.
