TASTING NOTES

Scurry is a traditional German style speciality beer featuring honey and milk chocolate aromas melded with oatmeal and bread crust flavor notes but drinks incredibly dry. 5.3 % alc/vol.

SECRET TECHNIQUES

Honey and molasses added post-boil helps the final beer retain the aromatics, that would otherwise be volatilized in the heat of the kettle. Beer worts high in simple sugars (like honey and molasses) often will produce hot alcohol flavors. But when the wort undergoes a cool fermentation, the beer finishes dry without any boozy detractors.
