HOURS OF OPERATION

  • Sunday through Thursday: 12pm-10pm

  • Friday & Saturday: 12pm-12am

  • Last Call is 30 minutes before close

Random Need-to-knows

  • We have 16 Off Color brews on draft plus a number of our can and bottle options alongside cans of guest cider and a full bar with liquor and wine.

  • We do not serve food, but outside food is welcome. Please remember to bring your own plates and cutlery.

  • Patio Tables and Indoor Seating:

    • First come, first served. We do not take reservations or hold tables.

    • Sit wherever you’d like and order inside at the bar. There is no table service. (Taproom Menu)

  • Yes, we have free wi-fi!

  • Well-behaved dogs on leash are allowed outside on the patio. Inside is humans only.

  • 21+ only after 6pm.

  • Credit card only.

Large groups / Parties / buyouts

While we do not take reservations, we are sometimes able to hold space Monday-Wednesday (with the occasional Thursday). But our hands are tied on the weekends (Friday-Sunday) when all seating areas are first come, first served. And we are not currently considering buyouts at this time.

If you’d like to bring a larger party to Mousetrap during the week by all means let us know via email. The taproom is one large open space with a few different seating sections: high-top tables, low-top tables, and a small banquette. We also have two outdoor spaces weather permitting; one in front, one in back.

On the weekends, with time and patience, your small group is likely to eventually find seating together, but we are unable to save space during our busiest days.

We try to keep some sixtels around, ready to sell, but the majority of our to-go kegs are filled to order. Check out the Keg Request Form for pricing and to get the ball rolling (on 1/2s and 1/6s)! Need a keg right now, today? Call the taproom to coordinate: 312-929-2916.

WHERE IS MOUSETRAP?

1460 N. Kingsbury in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. We are at the southwest corner of Kingsbury and Blackhawk in the Carbit Paint building. Look for the gigantic old timey water tower. Our door faces Kingsbury, come on in!

GETTING HERE

  • Driving: Street parking is available, but limited. You can park along the Blackhawk side of our building. Designated spots have Off Color branded signage.

  • Public Transportation:

    • "L" TRAIN: North/Clybourn Red Line stop (0.3 mi)

    • BUS: #72 North (0.2 mi), #8 Halsted (0.2 mi), #70 Division (0.4 mi)

    • METRA: The Clybourn stop (1.2 mi) serves two lines: Union Pacific North (Kenosha), Union Pacific Northwest (Harvard)

  • Biking:

    • Halsted has a bike lane and we aren't too far from Cortland, Elston, and the 606.

    • Yes, we have bike racks in front on Kingsbury

    • Nearby Divvy stations: Sheffield/Kingsbury, Dayton/North, Halsted/Clybourn

  • Note: We can only accept a 24 foot truck or less at the dock and do not have the ability to unload at street level.
